Pitch & Profile

Terms of Service

The agreement between Pitch & Profile and the families we work with.

About this agreement

These terms govern your use of the services offered by Pitch & Profile, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Gerald Roxas in Irvine, California ("we," "us," "Pitch & Profile"). They apply to everything we provide: the free profile, the paid packages on our Packages page, team pages, and the P&P Studio and P&P Socials tools. By submitting our onboarding form and ticking the box that says you agree to these terms, by signing a service agreement with us, or by paying for a package, you ("the parent" or "the client") agree to these terms on behalf of the player. If you have signed a separate written service agreement with us, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these public terms.

What we do

Pitch & Profile builds recruiting profiles for youth soccer players and, on paid packages, researches the college programs that fit them. The work typically includes:

Exactly what each package includes is what the Packages page says on the day you buy it, or what a written quote from us says. If we tell you something different in writing, the more recent written statement applies.

What we do not do

Pitch & Profile is a consulting and profile service. We support and prepare your family for the recruiting process; we do not control its outcome. Specifically:

Your responsibilities

To do good work for you we need your participation:

Photographs, film and publication

By ticking the media release box on the onboarding form, or by sending us photographs or film for the player's page, you give us permission to publish the player's name, likeness, photographs, film, class year, positions, school, club, academic information and schedule on the player's profile page, one-pager and press kit, private family page, and any team page for a team the player is on. That permission lasts until you withdraw it.

Who can see what

The player's profile page, one-pager, press kit and team page are public: anyone with the address can open them, and that is what makes them useful to a coach. The family page is private to your family behind an access code. We record which college programs open the player's page, and when, together with the technical details any web server sees, so you can see who is looking. We do not identify individual coaches. Notes a coach writes on a team page stay on the coach's own device and never reach us. Our Privacy Policy describes the rest.

Fees, payment, cancellation and refunds

Confidentiality

We treat the personal information your family shares with us as confidential and use it only for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy. The same expectation applies to anything you learn about other Pitch & Profile clients: please respect their privacy and do not redistribute information about them.

Intellectual property

Materials we produce for your family, including one-pagers, press kits, profile and family pages and recruiting lists, are licensed to you for personal recruiting use during your active service term. The Pitch & Profile brand, the layout templates and designs that power our pages, the Studio and Socials tools, and all underlying tooling remain our intellectual property. You may share the deliverables we produce for your child with coaches and family members; please do not republish them for commercial purposes.

Termination

Either you or Pitch & Profile may end the service relationship for any reason by email. When it ends, or when you ask, we take the player's pages down and stop reply capture. We keep the information you gave us for our records unless you ask us to delete it, in which case we do, except for what we are required to keep for tax and accounting. Refunds are as set out above.

Limitation of liability

Pitch & Profile is a small boutique practice. We work hard to do honest, careful work, and we provide the service with reasonable skill and care and otherwise as it is, without any warranty that it will lead to a particular result. Recruiting outcomes depend on many factors outside our control: coach decisions, program needs that shift year to year, and your child's performance and academics. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including a lost opportunity, a lost offer or a lost scholarship, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If there is a dispute, talk to us first: most problems are a conversation. Anything that cannot be settled that way will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

Changes to these terms

Each version of these terms carries a version number and an effective date, and the version you agreed to is recorded with your onboarding form. If we change them, we will revise the "Last updated" line below and email active clients the new version, which applies thirty days later, or sooner if you agree to it. If you do not agree to a new version, you can end the service as described above.

Last updated: October 11, 2026. This is version terms-2026-10-11 of these terms; it replaces version terms-2026-09-18. The only change is wording: the terms now say “the player” where they said “her”, so they read the same for every player. Nothing you agreed to has changed.
